Q. How do I introduce Evive?

Introduce Evive slowly to avoid digestive upset.
Start with a teaspoon for small dogs and cats, and a tablespoon for large dogs. Gradually increase the amount of Evive and decrease the dry food over the course of about 5 days.

Q. How do I thaw the packages?

You can thaw the package by:

• leaving in fridge over night
• microwaving for 30 seconds
• steeping in warm water (not boiling water)

Q. How to serve Evive?

Once the meal is thawed you can cut the top of the bag open and simply slide out the amount needed. You can close the top of the bag with a clip and put the opened bag back in the fridge. Alternately, you can transfer the contents of the bag into a plastic container.

You can also warm up the meal in the microwave for an added touch of niceness. Be sure to touch the meal to make sure it is not too hot.

Q. How do I store the packages?

Unopened packages can be:

• stored in freezer for up to 2 years
• stored in fridge for up to10 days

Opened packages should be used within 4-5 day

Q. How much of Evive do I feed my cat?

Small bag: will feed a 10-pound cat for 1 day
Large bag: will feed a 10-pound cat for 2 days
Fresh food booster: mix Evive with dry food

Q. How much of Evive do I feed my dog?

To know how many "squares" (daily quantity), you have to calculate: 1 square for each 5 pounds of body weight.

Q. How much do I reduce the dry food when mixing Evive with the dry food?

Every ¼ of a large bag of Evive:
subtract 10 pounds from your dog’s dry food feeding guideline

For example:

Your dog weighs 40 pounds and you feed ¼ of a large bag of Evive per day.
Your dog will need dry food for a 30-pound dog.

Your dog weighs 40 pounds and you feed ½ of a large bag of Evive per day.
Your dog will need dry food for a 20-pound dog.
