Montreal, October 23rd, 2008 — Ever wondered how it is that pets are expected to thrive on an entirely processed diet? Many veterinarians state that balanced homemade diets are the best, but time and knowledge are major barriers for most pet owners. Animal enthusiasts now have another option with the introduction of Evive - the first handmade pet food kitchen in Montreal to offer a healthy and convenient alternative to dried and canned foods, using only fresh local ingredients.
Everyone is invited to bring their four-legged canine friends to discover this new boutique kitchen at 93 Rachel Street West on the evening of Thursday November 6th. On the menu – free sample meals from Evive’s delicious fall menu: beef, acorn squash, rice and celery. Customers will also be able to enjoy a drink and have questions answered about this groundbreaking initiative.
Evive is a small company based in Montreal that makes fresh, balanced food for dog and cats. A variety of seasonal meals and treats to suit all tastes are prepared onsite, where quality and safety are not only on display but are celebrated. Having the distinction of being the only shop to obtain a permit to produce pet food on such a personalized and small scale, Evive is the first and only of its kind. Meals can be picked up on the spot, ordered in advance, or even delivered directly to customers living in Montreal or the West Island on a bi-weekly basis. It has never been easier to obtain healthy food for your pets!
Years ago, Evive founder Tracy Martin adopted a puppy but had poor results with a commercial diet. Common sense beckoned, and she began to research and feed her dog fresh meals made from whole foods. Her puppy blossomed into a shiny eyed, bouncing, happy dog. Inspired by her passion for health and love of all animals, Tracy decided it was time to help others have access to this same level of health for their pets. After years of preparation and research, Evive was born.
This is an event pet lovers can’t afford to miss!
